Our services

What We Actually Do

We fix and replace garage doors and openers for homes around Georgetown. Most of the houses we get called to were built between 1957 and 2018, with the bulk of the stock going up in the 1980s and 90s across the ten or so named areas that make up this part of Williamson County.

Older torsion spring doors

That spread matters: a house from the 90s usually has a steel torsion spring door on a chain-drive opener that's due for a spring or roller swap, while newer builds closer to Sun City Texas or out toward Berry Creek come with insulated doors and belt-drive openers that fail for different reasons - usually a bad circuit board or a misaligned sensor rather than a worn spring.

Scope of repairs

We work on both. Panel replacement, broken cable, bent track, off-the-rail doors, opener swaps, and the noisy roller jobs that are the most common call we get. We also handle the double-door torsion setups that are common on the bigger lots out past Serenada and toward Liberty Hill.

Sagging door diagnosis

If your door is sagging on one side or the opener runs but the door won't move, that's a job we see often and can usually diagnose on site. We don't try to be a general handyman service - doors, springs, openers, and the hardware that connects them is the work.

Getting Hold of Us

Call 17374503755. We're based at 3701 W State Highway 29, Georgetown, TX 78628, which puts us within a short drive of most of the service area - Serenada and Berry Creek are both about 3 miles out, Sun City Texas is 4 miles, and towns like Jarrell, Brushy Creek, and Liberty Hill run from 11 to 12 miles from our door. Pflugerville and Wells Branch are both about 16 miles south. If you're farther out, toward Taylor, Bartlett, or Jonestown, give us a call first so we can tell you honestly whether same-day service is realistic for that leg of the drive. We'd rather say that upfront than have you wait on a truck that's still working a job across town.

Our team

Who Does the Work

The person who answers the phone is generally the same person who knows the schedule, and the tech who shows up is the one doing the repair - no subcontracted call center routing you to someone else.

Why no headcount

We don't publish a staff count or a fleet number because that's not information that helps you fix a door, and we're not going to dress it up with a claim we can't back.

Experience with older setups

What we can tell you is that the work gets done by someone who's looked at a lot of 1980s and 90s torsion setups, because that's what the majority of homes in this part of Georgetown still have on the wall.

Quoting older hardware

If your opener or spring hardware is older than that median build year of 1993, expect the tech to ask a few more questions before quoting, since parts for older hardware aren't always a same-day pickup.

Our limits

What We Will Not Do

A house with a white garage door, brick and stone exterior, and pink flowering trees.

We won't quote a repair over the phone for a job we haven't seen - torsion spring tension and cable wear are things you check in person, not by description. We won't install a cheap off-brand opener on a door that's structurally failing just to make the service call faster; if the door itself is bent, racked, or rotted at the bottom panel, replacing the opener on top of it is a waste of your money, and we'll say so. We also won't drive out to jobs well outside the Georgetown area - past Taylor or Bartlett, for instance - without confirming the trip first, because that's not a fair wait to put on a homeowner closer in. And we don't do general handyman work; if the call isn't about a door, spring, opener, or track, it's not ours to take.

Questions

Common questions

Do you work on older garage doors, not just newer ones?

Yes. A good share of homes in this area were built well before 1993, the median year for the housing stock here, so older one-piece and torsion-spring doors are a regular part of the work. Parts availability can be slower for the oldest hardware, so we'll tell you upfront if something needs to be special-ordered rather than promise a same-day fix.

How far out will you travel for a repair?

We're based on W State Highway 29 in Georgetown, which keeps us close to Serenada, Berry Creek, and Sun City Texas, all within about 4 miles. We also cover places like Jarrell, Liberty Hill, and Brushy Creek 11-12 miles out. For spots like Bartlett or Jonestown, call ahead and we'll confirm scheduling before you wait on us.

Can you give me a price over the phone?

Not usually, and we'd rather be honest about that than guess. Spring tension, cable condition, and track alignment all need a look in person before we can quote a fair number. We can talk through what you're seeing on the call so the tech comes prepared, but the actual price comes after a hands-on check.
