Our services

What We Actually Do

We work on garage doors and openers - springs, cables, rollers, tracks, panels, and the motor units that run them. Houses in this area went up mostly between 1957 and 2018, with the median build year sitting around 1993, so a lot of what we open are mid-90s sectional doors with the openers that came standard back then: chain drives, basic wall buttons, no smart features.

Common local stock

Across the ten named areas we cover, most of what's on the street is 1980s and 90s stock, which means we see a lot of the same torsion springs and the same worn rollers over and over. We also work on newer doors.

Newer insulated panels

New construction in the last decade or so brought in insulated steel panels and belt-drive openers with battery backup, and we service those too. What we don't do is guess at your door from a description over the phone.

Quoting broken springs

A quote on a broken spring is simple - spring size and door weight are predictable within a range. A quote on a bent track, a cracked panel, or an opener that's intermittently failing needs eyes on it. We'd rather tell you that up front than hand you a number that changes when we show up.

Get in touch

Getting Hold of Us

Call 17374503755. That's the fastest way to get a real answer, because a lot of pricing questions take two or three back-and-forth questions to settle - what the door is doing, how old it is, whether it's a single or double.

Shop location and reach

Our address is 3701 W State Highway 29, Georgetown, TX 78628, and we run calls out from there to Serenada, three miles off, and out past Sun City Texas, four miles northwest, as well as Berry Creek close in.

Outer ring towns

Further out, we cover Brushy Creek and Jarrell at eleven miles, Liberty Hill at twelve, Florence at thirteen, Wells Branch and Pflugerville at sixteen, Taylor at seventeen, Bartlett at eighteen, and Jonestown at nineteen.

Confirming booking windows

If you're inside that radius, tell us on the call and we'll give you a window for getting a truck to you. If you're outside it, we'll say so instead of booking something we can't make work.

Our team

Who Does the Work

Serving Georgetown, TX

The person who answers the phone is trying to get you accurate information, not a sales pitch. We ask for the door's age, whether it's one piece or sectional, single or double, and what it's doing - won't open, makes noise, came off track, spring snapped. Those answers let us quote a spring replacement or a roller job with real confidence, because that hardware is standardized and the price range is known before anyone leaves the lot.

What we can't do from a phone call is price a full door replacement, a bent track repair, or anything involving the frame or the opening itself. Those need a tech standing in your driveway looking at the actual wall, the actual header, and the actual damage. We'll set that visit up instead of throwing out a number that doesn't hold.

Our limits

What We Will Not Do

We won't quote a flat price on a job sight-unseen when the problem involves structural damage, a misaligned opening, or anything we can't verify by phone.

Replacement over patching

We won't push a repair when the door's run its course - if the springs, tracks, and opener are all near end of life at once, replacement usually costs less over time than patching each one separately, and we'll say that plainly even if it means a smaller ticket for us that day.

Parts on order

We also won't promise parts we don't have in hand. Older one-piece doors and discontinued opener models sometimes need a part ordered, and if that's the case on your door, we'll tell you before we show up, not after.

No storm-hardening upsells

The climate here stays mild with the occasional freeze, which matters more for weatherstripping and foam-filled panels than it does for anything dramatic - so we're not going to sell you storm-hardening work this area doesn't need.

Questions

Common questions

Can you give me a price over the phone for a broken spring?

Usually, yes within a range. Torsion springs come in standard sizes tied to door weight and width, so once we know single or double and roughly how old the door is, we can quote close. We'll confirm the exact number when the tech opens the door, but it shouldn't move much.

Why can't you just quote the whole job from a photo?

A photo shows the panel, not the track alignment, the header condition, or how the opener's mounted. Bent track, water damage behind the trim, or a stripped gear inside the opener don't always show up in a picture, and guessing on those leads to a price that changes on arrival.

Do you cover areas outside Georgetown itself?

Yes. We run jobs out to Serenada, Berry Creek, Sun City Texas, Brushy Creek, Jarrell, Liberty Hill, Florence, Wells Branch, Pflugerville, Taylor, Bartlett, and Jonestown. Call and tell us where you are and we'll let you know the realistic window for getting a truck out.

Is it ever cheaper to replace than repair?

Sometimes, yes. If the springs, cables, rollers, and opener are all near the end of their life at the same time, fixing each one separately can add up to more than a new door. We'll tell you straight if that's where your door is instead of stacking repairs.
